H.H. the Dalai Lama

This is a copy of an email that I have received from the assistant of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. My friend Linda was so nice and dropped off the book, along with a letter to the Dalai Lama, while she was volunteering in Northern India. I received this email one day after my birthday, a beautiful gift

Dear Beate Epp,

I have been directed to thank you for your letter along with a copy of your book entitled 'The Magical Horses', which was presented for His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

The very warm sentiments that you have expressed for His Holiness are much appreciated. We are particularly encouraged to learn that His message of non-violence, compassion and religious tolerance has impacted many people including yourself. His Holiness considers the promotion of compassion, human values and the promotion of inter-religious understanding as commitments that His Holiness will always stand by.

His Holiness very much appreciates your thoughtful gesture and He sends you His prayers and good wishes.
